ITT Tire System
ITT (Integral Tubeless Tire) — Overview
The BGR Tires ITT is a pinch-proof, puncture-resistant tire system built around an internal bladder that is integral to the tire itself — no separate insert, no inner tube.
How It Works
During manufacturing, a release tape is layered into the mold between the inner three plies of rubber and nylon before vulcanization. Once the tire is cured, air pressure is applied to separate the bladder from the surrounding carcass. The bladder inverts to seal the spoke holes and form a dedicated air chamber within the tire structure.
The result is a fully integrated tubeless chamber. Adding tire sealant (such as Slime) to this chamber makes the system puncture-resistant and repairable with standard tubeless plug tools.
Key Properties
Pinch-proof — The integrated bladder eliminates the tube-against-rim or tube-against-collapsed sidewall condition that causes pinch flats. Air pressure can be reduced to any value without risk.
Puncture-resistant — The sealed inner chamber works with tire sealant to self-seal small punctures. Larger damage can be repaired roadside with standard tubeless repair tools.
Ultra-low pressure capable — With no pinch flat risk, riders can tune pressure freely for maximum traction. Ideal for Hard Enduro and EnduroCross applications.
Available Sizes
The ITT is currently offered in two sizes as part of the Shoug Series:
- BGR Tires 80/100-21 Shoug Series ITT — Front knobby offroad tire
- BGR Tires 110/100-18 Shoug Series ITT— Rear knobby offroad tire
