Traditional motorcycle tires are built with thick, heavy sidewalls to resist pinch flats when running at low pressures. Because the BGR Contact Tire System eliminates pinch flats entirely, that extra sidewall mass is no longer necessary — allowing BGR to engineer a lighter, more responsive tire without compromise.

The LW Series takes full advantage of this by reducing sidewall weight where protection is no longer needed, resulting in lower unsprung mass, improved suspension response, and a more agile ride feel.
