BGR Tires Contact Tire System Front Tire Kit

The BGR Contact Tire System is the first comprehensive flat proof tire system for many types of vehicles.  The Contact Tire System is compatible with most tires from other tire companies, but we recommend the BGR Tires LW(LightWeight) Front Tire for a 2 pound weight savings. The Contact Tire System is comprised of 3 elements. In the motorcycle version of the patented 2-chamber system, the Rock Shield in the Outer Chamber employs a soft but resilient puncture proof material that removes all "over-inflated basketball" tendencies like wheel hop and deflection when striking obstacles. The Rock Shield provides the first line of defense from punctures and cushions the rider from tire deflection and hard impact when striking rocks, roots and ruts. The Rock Shield offers a hardness value similar to 5-8psi in conventional tires. The kit includes (9) Rock Shield pieces. The Rock Shield components are separated from the Inner Tube by the 2nd element of the kit, the puncture-proof and non-elastic Tire Insert. The Tire Insert isolates the Outer Chamber from high Inner Tube pressure while protecting the Inner Chamber from pinch and puncture flats. The protected Inner Tube, which is the third component of the kit, provides correct sidewall support and precise steering at 15-20psi. Never before have riders experienced precise steering from increased sidewall support at desired higher inflation while having a soft Contact element addressing the terrain. No rim locks are required above 14psi, and no pinch flats are suffered.
